At a time when the bulk of cinemas are expected to remain shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic, our plan is to continue bringing new films to the PAM and NWFC audiences that allow us to follow social distancing rules.

We are proud to partner with NEON, the film production and distribution company that released Oscar winners such as Parasite and I, Tonya, on this innovative strategy to bring Totally Under Control.

We are excited to offer this film at an affordable price because of the economic hardship that Americans are facing during the pandemic.

From Academy Award–winning filmmaker Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Taxi to the Dark Side) and co-directors Susanne Hillinger and Ophelia Harutyunyan, Totally Under Control was shot in secret during the past five months of the U.S. COVID-19 crisis. Using ingenious new safety protocols they developed to film safely during the coronavirus pandemic, Gibney and team have created one of the first pandemic documentaries in real time.

Gibney, with his long history of exploration into what makes political and business leaders tick and make the choices they do, has meticulously tracked information throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to figure out why and how America has found itself in its current state. The results are shocking, maddening, and enlightening, and they come together to create a non-fiction exposé that is especially important and critical viewing right now, on the eve of the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
